10 things.....to be Grateful For...happiness..
In light of the holiday season I’ve been thinking about the unfortunate stories that exist on a daily basis. Stories that we merely just scan in the news or stories that we don’t even hear about. Whether it’s about unexpected death, unexpected illnesses, heart break, a loss of a home or other detrimental experiences. How often do we pause to appreciate what is great about our lives? Not very often, right? I’ve concocted a list of 10 things that we should be grateful for. Not just once a year, but every single day. -
Even if you’re close or not, family is family. Appreciate them and embrace them because you never know when it might be too late.Try to keep enjoying....with family whenever you are free from tasks.....
Having a great set of friends can put you in a wonderful mood. They make life a little better and make experiences a little sweeter. Don’t forget to tell them once in a while what they mean to you.
3.Good Health:
Health is the most important thing, and yet we often take our good health for granted. Even if you’re not in perfect health at the moment, it is possible to be grateful for what you do have.
4. Great Food:
Food on the table is a basic human need and if you’ve never starved – easy to take for granted. I’m not saying you have to be grateful for food just because you have it and others don’t (although you should seriously consider it).

5. Smiles and Laughter: Let’s be grateful for smiles and laughter together! Smiles from a stranger, a loved one or in a photo. After all, it’s contagious isn’t it? Be grateful for the smiles others gift you with, and be grateful for your own ability to smile and spread love and happiness.
6. Education: If you’re fortunate enough to receive a good education, this is something you can be grateful for. How about thanking your teachers and professors, your parents if they pay for your college or be grateful for your own intelligence and ability to learn.
7. Time: Free time, an open calendar, time off, fun times – be grateful for the time you have to do what you love. Even if you are super-busy, do you have the time of your life? Add it to your grateful list for an instant positive mood-booster.
8. Memories: If you’re lacking of things in your present to be grateful for (look harder, dear!), look to your past, but focus on the present. Pay attention to good memories that make you smile!
9. Love: Love in any form – just the thought of it will make you smile. I think there’s nothing in the world that makes me more grateful than the love I’m feeling from the people around me, and the love I’m giving in return.
10. Life: So easy to overlook, but so so fundamental. Be grateful for being alive! http://facebook.com/prmaurya
